We do not sell liquor to anyone under the age of 18, nor condone the consumption of alcohol by under-age individuals. Even our founder waited until he was 18 for his first drink. If you unfortunately look under 21 we have to request a positive proof of identification. At any point in time, we may use our discretion to refuse any order. This is for your protection and to maintain our community integrity and company standards.
Delivery and Trading Processing hours: 8:00am – 17:00pm, Monday – Friday. (Deliveries are not conducted on Sundays).
These Terms and Conditions (“the Terms and Conditions”) govern your (“the User”) use of the Magill Ventures owned, joburgbrew.com (“Provider”) website located at the domain name www.joburgbrew.com (“the Website”).
By accessing and using the Website, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out in this legal notice. The User may not access, display, use, download, and/or otherwise copy or distribute content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the consent of the Provider or the brands displayed here on the Website.
The Website: www.joburgbrew.com sells alcoholic beverages (“Craft Beer”) online. The use of any product purchased on this site, is used at the purchaser’s own risk. The purchaser/ user indemnifies and holds the Provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website.
The Domain and store of: www.joburgbrew.com, currently makes use of South African payment gateway engine, PayFast (Pty) Ltd. Currently this is the most appropriate solution that can be offered to our customers, and we apologise for any inconvenience in setup times cause, we hope you will endure with use through our trial period and provide us with feedback to make a better business.

The Website and Store’s prices are subject to change with no notice to the current customer. This is due to the nature of our current selection of Craft Beer, as well as the nature of the brew being produced by our suppliers. More information on the nature of price increases will be communicated here.
Other price fluctuations may be due factors outside the control of our store, however, we ensure the most competitive pricing convenient for our users/ purchasers/ customers and in line with quality standards.
Magill Ventures Pty. Ltd. and stock and goods trading domain; joburgbrew.com promises never to with hold their customers/ users/ purchasers personal information for the user of sale to a third party.
The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce payment gateway facility: PayFast (Pty) Ltd., including the User’s personal information and credit card or debit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider.
Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product to ensure quality of delivery and product.
Additionally, any information provided to joburgbrew.com will not be used to provide spam formed content or irrelevant information unless otherwise approved by the user for supply.
Providing personal details such as; name, surname, email address, contact number and date of birth, to the website domain; joburgbrew.com, will primarily be used to provide the best value service and quality goods to those users/ purchasers and customers.

We use a preferred courier company to make our deliveries within Gauteng. Any deliveries outside Gauteng will be billed accordingly. The rates of interprovincial delivery will appear on your checkout, however for a more detailed breakdown, please look here.
Because we love Johannesburg, we also know that we have some of the worlds most unique traffic. It’s because of this, that we cannot guarantee delivery times, but what we can say is that you will receive your beverages cold and within twenty four to forty eight hours.
If this is some how not the case, the purchaser will be contacted directly by the us “The Provider” for an update on the package’s route and time to delivery. We are working very closely with our suppliers and logistics partners to ensure that delivery times are reduced and improved in time. Unless otherwise specified, all transport and delivery costs are displayed on the Website and for every transaction. We try to provide the most convenience when our purchasers buy our products, it is for this reason that we deliver your purchase directly to the door of your choice.
The Provider will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order and will ensure that goods arrive at the User’s chosen delivery address in the same good order.A notification via email will be sent to the purchaser after the package has been delivered and received by the user/ purchaser/ customer.
The Provider, does not accept cash-on-delivery. This prevents degrees of corruption, theft and adds the buyers own safety and security. No transporter should ever ask a user/ purchaser for any form of renumeration or personal details. If such is requested, please contact our founder on +27 84 391 8428 immediately.
Any complaints regarding the quality of the delivered product, or quality of the transporter delivering the product should be directed to the joburgbrew.com founder at email@example.com.
Returns and Refunds:
Due to the nature of our products, Craft Beer can some times go bad before it consumed. Working closely with our partner breweries, there isn’t much of a chance that this would happen, but if you feel that your beer is off, please let us know within five days of receiving your package.
Please note, that the Provider cannot accept an entire box of empty bottles, and ask if you feel that the first bottle is of poor quality, to please refrain from testing the remaining bottles and rather contact the administration here, with the heading, (Bad Brew), and a store representative will contact you.
Cancelled orders on the e-commerce facility will be refunded after deduction of a 10% charge for administration costs. The Provider reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the Provider’s standards. Should the Provider exercise this right, the User will receive a full refund with no deductions.
If bottles or packaging is broken, cracked or otherwise faulty. The Provider asks that you notify administration here immediately. A store representative will contact you immediately and discuss collection of the faulty product set and replacement times for your purchase.
We will either refund your purchase or replace your purchase at our expense. Refunds will be payed within fifteen working days from placement of complaint, once the fault has been confirmed.
Exporting our products internationally is something we can do. However, we ask the buyer to contact us directly so that the adequate arrangements can be made and costings confirmed for the export. Currently, the store domain and website: www.joburgbrew.com makes use of the PayFast (Pty) Ltd. payment gateway. This allows you to make your purchases using your credit card, debit visa card and electronic transfer.
Due to potential fraud, Magill Ventures Pty. Ltd. reserves the right cancel any order and hold any order until the user/ purchaser payment has reflected in our PayFast account. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this, however, this is to protect our company and our community from criminality as a whole and we thank you for your support in this regard.
Customer details are not payment details:
Customer details will be stored by the Provider separately from card details. Customer card details which are entered by the client on PayFast’s secure site, are stored by PayFast and not by Joburgbrew.com. Please explore PayFast’s security policy for more detail.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency:
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
The Provider takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Updating the Terms and Conditions:
Provider reserves the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website.
It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.
